A dream collaboration has come true. Wit Studio has announced the production of a new original anime titled Love Through a Prism. The great news is that the original story and character designs come from the legendary mangaka Yoko Kamiocreator of the iconic franchise Boys Over Flowers (Hana Yori Dango).
History and Main Staff
Set in early 20th century London, the series is described as a story of love and coming of age. The plot follows Lili Ichijoinan aspiring painter who promises her parents to become the valedictorian of her art school in six months or return home. There begins a fierce rivalry with Kit Churcha rich heir and artistic genius.
The direction is in charge of Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning) in Wit Studio. The main theme song, “star flower,” will be performed by Chilli Beans..

About the author
Yoko Kamio He is a monumental figure in the manga shojo. In 2023, he received the Guinness World Record for Boys Over Flowers (Hana Yori Dango), being the manga shojo with most published copies written by a single author. His work has inspired multiple anime, film and television adaptations in Japan, Taiwan, Korea, China and Thailand.
