Chilpancingo.- The former PT-PVEM candidate for the governorship of Guerrero and businessman, Pedro Segura Valladares insisted to the musical group “Los Alegres del Barranco” who sang the song “El Dueño del Palenque” which is dedicated to the leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho” murdered on Sunday morning during an operation led by the Army in the municipality of Tapalpa, Jalisco.
On Tuesday night, the former PT-PVEM candidate organized a private concert on his ranch, in the municipality of Tepecoacuilco, in the northern region of Guerrero. The “Los Alegres del Barranco” concert was free.
At one point in the recital, the businessman got on stage and asked “Los Alegres del Barranco” to sing the corrido “El Dueño del Palenque” which is dedicated to Oseguera Cervantes.

The group’s vocalist refused and explained that doing so would get them into trouble as happened in 2025 when they sang it at the Telmex auditorium in Zapopan. Jaliscoand the Jalisco Attorney General’s Office began an investigation file against them, in addition to the fact that the United States took away their visas.
“I’ll sing it, you just wind me up,” proposed the former candidate.
“Unfortunately, although we play it, it can harm us as it already happened, we don’t want to be harmed,” responded the vocalist.

“Here they are going to listen to all the corridos because here it is familiar, it is free and it is private. And the government is going to screw their mother, let’s go!” said the businessman.
Segura Valladares is a controversial businessman who has ventured into politics. In 2021 he was the alliance candidate PT-PVEM to the governorship of Guerrero.
In August 2025 He was arrested by the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) accused of the crime of organized crime and for his alleged participation in the disappearance of the 43 normal students of Ayotzinapa in Iguala in 2014.
