After the announcement of SNK Vs Capcom: SVC Chaos and confirming details about his interest in future crossovers, this time a supposed Capcom insider, considered reliable by the filter Dusk Golemhas shared new details about several internal company projects. They would be the following:
- The filtration ensures that a remake of the first Devil May Cry would currently be in development.
- According to the information, an internal meeting was held in June or July 2022 to decide the future of the saga resident Evil.
- At that meeting the development of:
- A remake of Resident Evil Zero.
- A remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
- A new remake of resident Evil.
- Resident Evil 10.
- Suppositions were also leaked internal names for projects:
- “Project Chambers” for Resident Evil Zero.
- “Project Fallen” for the remake of Resident Evil.
- “Project Redlife” for Resident Evil 10.
- The original Resident Evil remake would have been in pre-production between 2022 and 2023, recently entering full development.
- The leak claims that Claire Redfield would be the main protagonist of Resident Evil 10.
- Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 10 would use the new REX Engine graphics engine.
- It is also mentioned that in 2022 Capcom closed several fan-made remakes related to Resident Evil Zero, Code Veronica and Resident Evil, coinciding with the approval of these internal projects.
