To celebrate the anniversary of the release of KPop Demon Hunters from Netflix, Republic Records presents a special edition of the best-selling soundtrack that topped global charts, won major awards and became a classic in modern pop history.

A year after the film’s release, the soundtrack of KPop Demon Hunters It remains one of the most talked about musical projects in recent years.

The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the highest-charting animated soundtrack of 2025, and the single Golden became a worldwide hit, reaching number one and earning multiple platinum certifications.

The success of the project was consecrated during this year’s awards season. The film won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, and the song Golden won the award for Best Original Song.

It was a historic moment for both Korean popular music and filmmakers.

To celebrate the anniversary, fans will receive a special edition of the soundtrack, enriched with additional tracks that are available in physical format for the first time. These include Golden (David Guetta REM/X) and Golden (Glowin’ Version)which expand the musical universe of the film.

The anniversary edition is available on CD and in various collector’s vinyl editions. Each includes extras for fans, such as trading card sets, stickers and exclusive art inspired by the world of KPop Demon Hunters.

The original soundtrack, released in June 2025, combined new songs performed by fictional groups HUNTR/X and Saja Boys with contributions from artists linked to the Korean music scene.

The album also included a special version of takedown recorded by TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo and Chaeyoung.
