What happened in the final grab of Miss Universe 2025?
The last stage of the beauty pageant took place from the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, in Thailand, where the Mexican Fátima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe 2025.
Although she was not listed as one of the favorites to win the contest, she held a contest marked by controversy with the producer Nawat Itsaragrisil and rose above a strong competition that ended in this way:
- Fifth place: Ivory Coast
- Fourth place: Philippines
- Third place: Venezuela
- Second place: Thailand.
With this, the Mexican will succeed Victoria Kjaer, Miss Universe 2024, on the ‘throne’. The Mexican beauty queen went from strength to strength after defending her voice ‘too much’ because of what happened to the Thai, whom she accused of calling her ‘silly’ upon arrival in Bangkok.
“I want to raise my voice and I want to put it at the service of others, because today we are here to raise our voices, to create change; because we are women who must stand up and we do it with courage, we make history,” said the Mexican during the first round of questions.
With this, Mexico added its fourth universal beauty queen: Lupita Jones (1991), Ximena Navarrete (2010), Andrea Meza (2020) and now Fátima Bosch (2025).
