The 52-year-old from São Paulo brought peace of mind to his followers, indicating that it was “a preventive medical procedure, planned in advance with his medical team,” making it clear that he had not suffered a heart attack.

The procedure was performed the same day, “with complete success and without interruptions”according to the medical bulletin released on December 31, which also noted that the former soccer player was progressing satisfactorily and was stable and without symptoms.
