Czech Pérez will have a difficult start to his return to Formula 1. Shortly before, the Mexican driver Noel León surprised in Formula 2 by achieving his first podium in the category after finishing in second position in the Sprint race of the Australian Grand Prix.

First place went to Paraguayan Joshua Duerksen, while Irishman Alex Dunne took third place.
