The objective of the project is not only to tell these traditional stories, but also to measure the impact they generate among the digital audience. Based on the response from viewers, the director seeks to identify which of these legends has the greatest popularity to make it the focus of his next film project.

Olivares, who has more than three decades of experience in the film industry, has also worked as a producer, editor and writer. In this creative process he is accompanied by associate producer Rocío Padilla, with whom he develops new audiovisual projects focused on local stories.

Currently, the filmmaker is in the final stages of his most recent film, Distant Lights, filmed in Samalayuca, a story that explores reports of alleged extraterrestrial apparitions in that region of the state.

With this initiative, the director seeks to innovate through the use of new technologies, while contributing to preserving and projecting the collective imagination of Chihuahua towards new audiences inside and outside the country.
