It looks like we have new content in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! On the website you already have our complete guide to the title, and now we have more news after the premiere of its Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and its free 3.0 update.
After knowing the prices and download sizes of this edition, Nintendo has released update 3.0 ahead of schedule, after knowing all the new items included, as well as how to get the new Zelda and Splatoon neighbors and items, and we also learned about a new and useful move.
Now a new surprise update has been released: the game already offers version 3.0.2. Among the new features, players can get the leaf statue which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the franchise which is celebrated today. We leave you with the patch notes:

General updates
- A commemorative item (a leaf statue) has been added for the 25th anniversary of the Animal Crossing series. Check your in-game mailbox to receive it.
- Fixed an issue in hotel rooms where furniture placement or guest behavior could prevent leaving the room.
- Fixed an issue where crafting multiple items at once with a DIY recipe that requires six types of materials could sometimes be completed without having enough materials.
- Fixed an issue where a dung beetle that appeared on top of a snowball could remain on screen after the ball disappeared.
- Fixed a bug where objects could come out of a rock before the shovel made contact when hitting it.
- This issue was already fixed in version 3.0.1, but could still occur under certain conditions, so it has been fixed again.
- Fixed an issue where bringing player-created custom skins to a Dream Island could prevent them from being displayed in Handy Sisters or being uploaded to the Custom Skin Portal.
- Fixed an issue where bright spots on the island were not illuminated when viewed from the plane when returning from another island.
- Fixed an issue where neighbors who had promised to visit the player’s home could appear in unnatural places within the home.
- Other adjustments and fixes have been made to improve the gaming experience.
DLC Changes
The following issues related to the paid DLC Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise have been fixed:
- Fixed a bug where animals requesting vacation homes would stop appearing on the beach even when some were still homeless.
