Hours after the incident, Meylin Zúñiga shared a message on her Instagram stories where she gave more context about what happened:
“The elevator in which we went down leaving the presentation fell one floor, many people from the team were there. Thank God we are all fine, just a slight fracture in my ankle. Thank you for your little messages.”
In the same message, the influencer took the moment with humor by describing it as a “break a leg”an expression used in the entertainment world to wish good luck, and added that he will take it as a good omen after the presentation.

According to reports, the incident occurred when leaving the event through the employee area, when the group boarded an elevator that allegedly carried excess of peoplewhich would have caused a drop of approximately a flat.
