J-Hope shares the preview of the BTS concert in Mexico

With “Body to Body” in the background, the song from the South Korean group’s most recent album bts, J-Hope advanced on the stage of GNP Stadium while the fans burst into screams.

On his Instagram account, the idol captured the moment, smiled at the camera and recorded the audience during the soundcheck of the first day of the concert series in Mexico City.

Likewise, he shared a video in which the rest of the members can be seen greeting the audience: “Hello! Hello!” they say to the group, which is still small in number of fans.

At another time, J-Hope asked ARMY, as his fandom is known, to chant the song at the top of their lungs, and the followers responded instantly.

The septet appeared with a more casual look and left aside flashy outfits on this occasion.

Yesterday, May 6, thousands of fans, including people who have not gotten tickets for the dates of May 7, 9 and 10, were able to see the group on the plaza of the capital’s Zócalo, after the president Claudia Sheinbaum announced that the members would appear at 5:00 p.m. from National Palace to greet his followers.

The 50 thousand attendees who came with banners, flags and different group items heard the words of RM, leader of BTS, and V, who directed much of his message in Spanish.

RM combined Spanish phrases with English sentences:

“Hello Mexico, we are BTS, thank you very much, we can’t wait for the concert tomorrow, thank you all, I love you, I love you, thank you very much,” he said Kim Namjoon.

“Hello, I don’t speak Spanish very well, but I’ll try, you missed us, we miss Mexico a lot more, the energy here is incredible, thank you very much for loving us so much, see you next time, goodbye,” he expressed Kim Tae-hyung.

Later, the president reported that BTS would return in 2027, although more details about the visit have not yet been given.

BTS managed to sell out on their three scheduled dates in the capital.
