The Toyota Corolla 2026 was the best-selling compact and the fourth most purchased car in Spain during the month of April. Its Eco label, its reliable hybrid powertrain and a ridiculous consumption of 4.4 liters per 100 km make it tremendously attractive to customers. And now it’s on sale!

Almost 1,000 km without refueling

Under the name Hybrid 140 there is a propulsion system made up of a 98 HP 1.8 naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a 95 HP electric mechanism, which give a combined power of 140 HP. The associated transmission is the automatic one with planetary gears e-CVT, comparable in operation to one with a continuous variator.

The features are interesting even for traveling: 0 to 100 in 9.1 seconds and a maximum speed of 180 km/h. Thanks to its very low consumption and a 43-liter tank, the car is close to 1,000 km of theoretical autonomy (977).

A very well equipped hybrid

The Active finish includes dual-zone climate control, 16-inch alloy wheels, 10.5-inch central screen, 12.3-inch digital instrumentation, rear view camera, keyless entry and start, lighting, rain and parking sensors, Smart Connect multimedia system or wireless charging base for smartphones.

The safety features include traffic sign recognition, driver fatigue alert, involuntary lane change assist, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection.

For less than 25,000 euros

Although it is true that it is not the most spacious compact or with the best trunk (capacity remains at 361 liters), the Toyota Corolla enjoys an intelligently balanced feel, which makes it a comfortable car on uneven surfaces and when overcoming speed bumps, and also fun enough on twisty roads.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the Toyota Corolla Hybrid 140 Active is on sale if purchased through financing. With this payment formula, the discount reaches 2,475 euros, leaving the amount below the psychological barrier of 25,000 euros: 24,700.
