Infections increase
According to the latest publication of the Epidemiological Panorama of Dengue as of July 6, cases increased to 3,001 distributed in 28 states.
77% of the people who were infected were concentrated in 5 entities, with 851 infections, Sonora topped the list, followed by Veracruz with 454, Tabasco with 424, Sinaloa with 421 and Baja California Sur with 167.
During epidemiological week number 26, of the 3,001 confirmed patients, 1,688 were reported with dengue with warning signs and severe dengue.
Overall, 54% of cases were diagnosed in women. Compared to the 46% reported in men, the federal agency reported. It should be noted that the entities that did not report cases were: Mexico City, Tlaxcala, Colima and Zacatecas.
