WHAT ILLUSTRATIONS DID UFOTABLE PUBLISH FOR THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF “DEMON SLAYER: INFINITY CASTLE”?
Ufotable shared three illustrations unpublished through their official account on X, each one focused on a duo of characters from “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle”.
The first, titled “Tanjiro and Giyu,” shows Tanjiro Kamado with his face stained with blood, while Giyu Tomioka appears in front of him, wielding his sword.

The second, “Shinobu and Kanao,” features Kanao Tsuyuri in the background and, in front of her, the figure of Shinobu Kocho.

Finally, the third, “Zenitsu and his grandfather,” portrays Zenitsu Agatsuma crying for the memory of his beloved teacher, Jigoro Kuwajima.

WHAT WAS THE JOURNEY OF “DEMON SLAYER: INFINITY CASTLE” UNTIL THIS ANNIVERSARY?
“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” premiered in theaters in Japan last July 18, 2025as the first installment of the trilogy that adapts the final section of the manga “Kimetsu no Yaiba”.
It should be noted that the film was screened in 158 countries and regions worldwide, consolidating itself as one of the most successful phenomena of Japanese animated cinema in recent years.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE “DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA” FRANCHISE?
The production continues its presence in the market through the physical format: its premiere in Blu-ray and DVD is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in Japan, with additional artwork by Ufotable.
In addition, it will reach the streaming platform Crunchyroll one day before, Tuesday, July 28.
In parallel, the second film of the trilogy“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle – Part 2”, is already confirmed and in development, although its release date has not yet been officially announced.
