Although the young woman sent an email with her information and demanding the return of the capital she had in said account, so far she has not received a response from the Nu México team, although she has already issued a complaint to the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef), with the hope that she can recover her capital.

According to Nu’s terms and conditions, by opening an account with them you not only access benefits, but also assume the stipulated obligations. In clause 8.2 of the credit and card operation contract, the following 3 behaviors considered as not permitted are stipulated, which could lead to the cancellation or blocking of the card:

• Cash-out (Use a point of sale terminal to simulate a purchase and obtain cash).
• Transactions in betting establishments (gambling).
• Purchase and sale of assets (trading).
