New York received celebrities this Monday at its traditional Met Gala, a fashion event that this year was held under the slogan “Costume Art.”
There were more than 300 guests, including many of the biggest names in show business, who paraded in front of the cameras on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum in the Big Apple.
One of the most anticipated celebrities was the singer Beyoncé, who appeared as one of the co-chairs of the event after a decade of absence from the Met Galas.
Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams also co-chaired the evening with the former editor of Vogue Anna Wintour.

Meryl Streep was a notable absence. The actress is promoting “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, a film in which she plays a fictional version of Anna Wintour.
On the other hand, her co-star in the film, Anne Hathaway, came in a black and white dress, with an outstretched hand and a dove among her designs.

Sabrina Carpenter, one of the stars of the moment, said she was inspired by the film that bears her first name.
“Sabrina,” the 1954 classic with Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, later had a remake with Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond.
The outfit was the work of Jonathan Anderson for Dior, who also designed her costumes for Coachella.

Other big names on the guest list included Bad Bunny, Kim Kardashian, A$AP Rocky, fashion designer Donatella Versace, and Jennie and Lisa from K-pop band Blackpink.
Bad Bunny aged up with a white wig, a cane, and stunning facial makeup.
“This Met Gala day is the perfect day to explore and be creative,” he told Vogueadding that her outfit took “53 years” to put together.

Other notable celebrities who have skipped tonight’s event include Zendaya and her fiancé, Tom Holland. The actress is known for wearing looks iconic, but tonight her stylist, Law Roach, attended alone.
Timothée Chalamet was also not on the list of attendees. Did the actor skip the Met Gala to attend the New York Knicks game tonight? Maybe we’ll see him there. His girlfriend, beauty mogul Kylie Jenner, did attend.
Jenner, the youngest member of the Kardashian family, has turned her body into a work of art; Therefore, it is most appropriate that he refers to it through one of his favorite brands: Schiaparelli.
Her dress—which gives the impression that she is undressing on its own—focuses attention on her breasts, the same ones that made headlines last year when she revealed the details of her breast augmentation on TikTok.

Theater producer Jordan Roth, meanwhile, caught the attention of Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, who upon seeing his outfit exclaimed: “That’s incredible!”
Roth said he was inspired by his favorite Met painting, “Pygmalion and Galatea.”
It has been one of the looks most unique of the night, with a playful interpretation of the theme.
British designer Robert Wun was commissioned to create Roth’s mannequin dress.
