It was recently rumored that this edition could well join the best Nintendo Switch games and now also Nintendo Switch 2, although it has not yet been officially announced. And it is that an unannounced version of Devil May Cry 5 already had been classified for Nintendo Switch 2 by the Taiwan classification body, under the name “Devil Hunter Edition”.

Although this record suggests that the game could soon arrive on the console, Capcom still has not made any official announcement nor has it detailed what content this edition would include. However, to that initial list we must now add that a Swiss store has included Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition in its list of releases for Switch 2 dated August 28, 2026.
