With this objective, Xiaomi presented the new Xiaomi 17T Series in Peru, made up of the models Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. The new generation incorporates important advances in photography such as Leica Telephoto 5x, Leica Live Moment, artificial intelligence, autonomy, performance and a better visual experience, consolidating the brand’s strategy to bring premium technologies to an increasingly wider audience.

A new generation of smartphones designed to create content

The Xiaomi 17T series was developed to respond to the needs of those who use their phone as a tool to work, create content and share experiences on social networks.

During its official presentation, Xiaomi showed the main innovations of this new line, among which stand out a photographic system developed together with Leica, artificial intelligence functions, an optimized visual experience and new generation batteries designed to accompany intense days of use.

Photography developed together with Leica to capture more details

One of the main advances of the Xiaomi 17T Series is the incorporation, for the first time in the entire T range, of the Leica 5x telephoto lens. This technology allows you to expand the creative possibilities for both photography and video, offering images with greater detail, depth and better light management.

Both devices integrate a 50 MP main camera and Leica optics, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro incorporates a larger sensor to capture a greater amount of light. In addition, they feature the Leica UltraPure optical design and a Leica Summilux lens structure, aimed at improving sharpness even in scenes with complex lighting.

The telephoto lens also expands shooting versatility, allowing you to take macro photos from 30 centimeters, perform optical zoom and take advantage of zoom functions assisted by artificial intelligence to get closer to distant scenes without losing quality.

Photographs with movement: the Leica Live Moment proposal

In addition to traditional photography, the Xiaomi 17T Series incorporates Leica Live Moment, a function designed to record not only a moment, but also the movement and emotion that surrounds it.

The experience is complemented by tools such as Leica Live Portrait, which generates a natural bokeh effect for portraits with greater depth, as well as new collage options and exclusive watermarks to personalize images before sharing them. In the case of the Xiaomi 17T Pro, functions such as Ultra-HD Live Moment in 4K and additional cinematic modes are also added for those looking for a more professional video experience.

Screens designed to offer a more comfortable experience

The visual experience also receives a major update. Both devices incorporate AMOLED screens with 1.5K resolution and a maximum brightness of up to 3500 nits, designed to facilitate viewing even in sunlight.

Added to this is Xiaomi Vision Care, a set of technologies aimed at reducing exposure to blue light, minimizing flickering and reducing motion blur during long sessions of use.

Thanks to these features, the Xiaomi 17T Series becomes the first family of Xiaomi smartphones to obtain the TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification, focused on offering a more comfortable visual experience.

In the fluidity section, the Xiaomi 17T Pro offers a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, while the Xiaomi 17T reaches 120 Hz, providing smoother movements both in video games and in applications and daily navigation.

Performance prepared to accompany demanding days

The new Xiaomi 17T Series also incorporates new generation silicon-carbon batteries, a technology that improves energy density to offer greater autonomy without significantly increasing the size of the device.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro integrates a 7000 mAh battery compatible with 100 W HyperCharge and 50 W wireless charging, while the Xiaomi 17T incorporates a 6500 mAh battery with 67 W HyperCharge.

The brand points out that this combination allows you to maintain a high level of productivity and entertainment for about two days of use under normal conditions. Both devices are also compatible with third-party chargers using the PPS standard.

Performance is powered by the latest generation MediaTek Dimensity processors. The Xiaomi 17T Pro incorporates the 3-nanometer Dimensity 9500, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the Dimensity 8500-Ultra.

Both devices also integrate the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop cooling system, designed to maintain stable performance during prolonged sessions of multitasking, video games or content creation.

Two models for different user styles

Although they share many of their innovations, Xiaomi designed both models with different user profiles in mind.

The Xiaomi 17T is committed to a more compact and lighter format, aimed at those who prioritize comfort in daily use. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17T Pro incorporates more advanced features for those looking for maximum performance in photography, productivity and entertainment. This strategy responds to the objective of offering premium experiences adapted to different needs.

Likewise, the Xiaomi 17T Series is part of the Human × Car × Home strategy, through which the company seeks to integrate smartphones, smart home devices and mobility solutions within a connected ecosystem that facilitates interaction between all its products.

Availability, pricing and launch benefits

The Xiaomi 17T Series is now available in the Peruvian market.

The Xiaomi 17T arrives with a configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, with a suggested price from S/ 2,799. For its part, the Xiaomi 17T Pro, also with 12 GB + 512 GB, has a suggested price from S/ 3,499.

As part of the launch, those who purchase any of the models will be able to access benefits such as free months of YouTube Premium, Spotify Premium and Google AI Pro, as well as a screen replacement during the first six months and a two-year warranty against factory defects, subject to the conditions of the promotion.
