Natalie Glebova, who served as a judge in the grand final of Miss Universe 2025, issued a message that is fueling the controversy over the triumph of the Mexican Fátima Bosch.
The former beauty queen, winner of the pageant in 2005, published the letter on her Instagram account, making it clear that for her the winner should have been Miss Thailand, Praveenar Singh.
In addition to stating who she supported to keep the precious crown, Natalie Glebova took advantage of her ‘post’ to express her discontent with how the qualifications are handled.
“As a judge this year, I can only speak for myself when I cast my votes. Please remember that each person has their own opinion and that no one can influence the result,” she noted.
“However, it has to be said… when I competed in 2005 and in previous years, I remember there was always an auditor who came on stage with the sealed results from the accounting firm,” he added.
“I would like it to be done like this again, please,” he asked. “Until then, I don’t think I will participate as a judge again.”
The Russian model did not detail the reasons why, in her opinion, the presence of an intervener would have been necessary in yesterday’s contest.
Previously, the musician Omar Harfouch, who resigned from his position as a Miss Universe 2025 judge two days before the grand final accusing that there would be “fraud,” launched himself against Fátima Bosch.
He stated that if the woman from Tabasco obtained first place it is because the owner of 50% of the franchise, Mexican businessman Raúl Rocha, “has business with her father.”
“Raúl Rocha and his son urged me, a week ago in Dubai, to vote for Fátima Bosch because they needed her to win: ‘It will be good for our business,’ they told me,” he noted.
So far, Bernardo Bosch, the young woman’s father, has not commented on this accusation. Neither has she.
Rocha, meanwhile, confronted a CNN reporter who, in a press conference after Fátima’s victory, questioned him about what Harfouch said, reports Milenio.
He ruled that the former judge “really lied because he wants to attract attention” and alleged that he did not resign from his position, but rather that he was dismissed for not fulfilling his obligations.
