This Thursday, January 15, Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls will be the first Formula 1 teams to officially present their liveries for the 2026 season, at an event that will take place in Detroit, United States.
Just over ten days before the start of the preseason, which will take place in Barcelona between January 26 and 30, the attention of the paddock is focused on this launch that marks the first major public milestone of the new regulatory cycle.
The presentation will not only serve to reveal the colors that the cars of both teams will wear, but will also represent the official launch of the Red Bull Powertrains project together with Ford. For this reason, the choice of Detroit is no coincidence: the city is the birthplace of the Ford Motor Company, founded there in 1903, and symbolizes the return of the American manufacturer to Formula 1. Following its separation from Honda at the end of the 2025 season, Red Bull will face 2026 with its own power units developed in association with Ford, a technical challenge of enormous magnitude for the Milton Keynes-based team and its satellite structure.
Red Bull event schedules for Latin America
First, Ford held a global event Thursday in Detroit to introduce its Ford Racing program, which encompassed all of its motorsports activities.
Later comes the specific turn of Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls, when the liveries of their Formula 1 cars for 2026 are revealed. The presentation will begin at 00:00 on Friday the 16th in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay; at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday in Bolivia, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic; at 22:00 in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Panama; and at 9:00 p.m. in Mexico (CDMX), Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua.

As for the protagonists, Max Verstappen, four-time world champion, and his new teammate Isack Hadjar from Red Bull Racing will be present, along with team director Laurent Mekies. Racing Bulls will have Liam Lawson and debutant Arvid Lindblad, accompanied by his team boss Alan Permane. The presence of Daniel Ricciardo, current ambassador of Ford Racing, is also expected.
The presentation will focus exclusively on the decorations, without showing technical details of the real 2026 cars, something logical taking into account the change in regulations and the usual secrecy of the teams. Even so, the event will mark the visible beginning of a new era for Red Bull and Ford, with the Powertrains project as one of the great focuses of attention ahead of a season that promises to redefine the competitive order of Formula 1.
