He SEAT Ibiza It’s on its third update in recent years, the deepest yet. With a meticulous redesign and technological review, the Spanish hatchback seeks to remain one of the most convincing urban mobility options on the market. Here we tell you what’s new with the model 2026 and what are their prices for Mexico.

The most relevant thing about its renovation is in its appearance. To shake off the years, the Ibiza receives a new front. The main changes are reflected in a new headlight design – with a renewed LED signature – and a sportier-looking fascia, with larger air intakes. At the rear, the changes are summarized in a new bumper.

All Ibizas that arrive in Mexico include LED headlights (with variable daytime running light, depending on version) and aluminum wheels, ranging from 16″ to 17″. There are six body color options (plus two to be launched later), including the new Dreamlike Grey.

Inside, the changes are much more subtle, with only new upholstery designs and updates to some decorative pieces. In the FR versions, bucket-type sports seats are also included as standard. There’s ambient lighting, rubbery-feel finishes, and a mix of touch and physical controls.

In terms of equipmentfrom the most accessible version the offer is very complete. It includes an 8″ screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic air conditioning, electrochromic rearview mirror, cruise control, 8″ digital cluster, sunroof, light and rain sensor, six airbags, stability control and fatigue detection.

Throughout the range, its equipment can add smart key, wireless phone charger, 10.25″ fully digital cluster, infotainment with 9.2″ screen, front and rear parking sensors, ambient lighting, among others.

In terms of mechanics, it remains as we know it. There are no changes in the chassis or in the engine offering, so most versions retain the well-known 1.6 liter engine 110 hp and 112 lb-ft with five-speed manual transmission or six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The FR version can be ordered with 1.0 liter turbo engine 115 hp and 148 lb-ft with six-speed manual transmission.

He price of the SEAT Ibiza 2026 in Mexico It starts at 379,900 pesos and is now available at dealers. Its range is made up only of Style and FR versions. Among its main competitors are Kia K3, Mazda2 and Suzuki Swift.
