Christopher Lloyd was one of the big stars of the first day of the CCXP Mexico 2026celebrated this Friday, April 24 at the Banamex centerwhere he shared which character he most enjoys playing throughout his career.

The American actor has starred in period-defining films such as “Back to the Future” and “The Adams Family”, in addition to participating in recent series such as “Merlina”.

Although for many fans who were waiting for him in the Thunder Stage His most emblematic character is Doc Emmett Brownfrom “Back to the Future”, Lloyd surprised by revealing that his favorite is not that one.

The interpreter, who was applauded upon his arrival, pointed out that the character he carries most in his heart is the Uncle Lucasof The Adams Madmennot because of its popularity, but because of the personal connection he has with it: he remembered that as a child he read the comics in the newspapers and it became his favorite ever since.

“When I was a child, at 8, 9 or 10 years old, I bought the newspaper and read cartoons. He was my favorite,” he shared before hundreds of fans.

Lloyd also spoke of his respect for the character of Doc Brownwhich he considers one of his most important works. He pointed out that, although he has participated in advertisements and cameos related to the franchise, he ensures that they are always careful proposals so as not to affect the public’s perception.

During his time at Omelete Stagethe actor received as a gift a piñata in the shape of the DeLoreanwhich he observed with humor and ended up placing it on his head when saying goodbye. Before leaving, he also said with a laugh that he took a small souvenir from the set of Back to the Future.

“I think the only thing I have is a shirt that I wore. It’s yellow with a lot of things on it, it’s in my closet and my wife hopes it stays there… maybe I’ll steal it,” he said, laughing.
