The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is updated with new features on Nintendo Switch 2


Have new update available. It is indeed The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! Some time ago we were surprised by the announcement of your nintendo switch 2 Editionand now Bethesda has released a new patch for the game in its Anniversary Edition.

Includes the following under version 1.2 on Nintendo Switch 2:

New features

  • Added “60 Hz” mode in display settings.

  • Ability to choose between “Prioritize graphics” and “Prioritize performance”.

  • In “Graphics Prioritize” mode, the frame rate is fixed at 30 Hz for greater stability.

Crashes and performance fixes

  • Fixed crash when reading “The Crimson Dirks Vol. 4” in the mission “Tilted Scales” (in German).

  • Fixed audio related crash.

  • Fixed crash, infinite loading, and freezing when selecting “Load” repeatedly in the pause menu.

  • Fixed crash when repeatedly casting “Transmute Ore” outside of “Haltered Stream Camp”.

  • Performance improvements (FPS) in:

    • “Hide and Seek” mission in “Kynesgrove”.

    • Fight in “Secunda’s Kiss”.

    • Discovery of “Drelas’ Cottage”.

    • Fight a giant in “Talking Stone Camp”.

Visual fixes

  • Water at a distance or in menus moved strangely.

  • The distant aspen trees appeared with a bluish tone.

  • The cave outline remained visible during the loading screen upon exit.

Interface fixes

  • Highlighting issues when switching between mouse and controller in dialogs and “Help” menu.

  • Button icons were not updating correctly when changing modes.

  • The “Ready/Sheathe” option was missing from the “Joy-Con 2 Mouse Controls” menu.

  • The “Delete” button was incorrectly grayed out in the “Load” menu.

  • When deleting a game, the selection returned to the beginning of the list.

  • The cursor was limited in mouse mode when switching between dock/laptop mode or using GameChat.

Control fixes

  • The “Eagle Eye” perk was still active after switching between mouse and controller.

  • Remapping buttons while holding the right turn signal could cause a button to disappear.

  • Active vibration in mouse mode with Joy-Con 2.

  • Buttons that stopped responding after remapping controls in mouse mode.

  • The map rotated slower in mouse mode than in controller mode.
