Nuevo León yesterday signed an agreement to boost the Tourism Doctor at the Colombia-Ledo International Bridge.

Emmanuel Loo, Undersecretary of Investment, indicated that promoting the border port, is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Economy.

The authorities will manage and formalize the necessary agreements with government, private and social instances for the installation, development and operation of a medical clinic in the center of facilities to foreign trade.

The Colombia-Ledo International Bridge is a strategic crossing point between Nuevo León and Texas.

“We want all users of different clusters, of the different companies that have been investing in the state, can carry and direct their entire burden and all their logistics use by the Colombia-Ledo International Bridge and the new road of the Gloria de Colombia,” he explained.

In this regard, Marco Antonio González, Secretary of Agricultural Development and head of the Corporation for the Development of the Border Zone of Nuevo Leónhighlighted in less than four years the capacity increased in an exponential way, with the crossing of up to 7 thousand heavy and light vehicles.

“The inertia we are doing with the Secretariat of Economy and with the two clusters today will enhance our border,” he added.

The logistics cluster also signed the agreement, and the health cluster and Tourism Doctor of Nuevo León.

The health cluster and Tourism Doctor is responsible for operating and administering the clinic, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety and medical care.

In addition to integrating an attractive and specialized medical offer for international visitors, in order to strengthen the image of Nuevo León as a competitive destination in tourism doctor. (CLG)
