He Summer Game Fest 2026 has just ended and the new conference presented by Geoff Keighley has left us with two hours of pure and simple entertainment in which they have not stopped parading great games of all kinds that we will see over the coming months and starting next year. Among all of them there have been titles that had already been leaked, others that have been a real bombshell and there have also been some that were expected to make an appearance.
So that you don’t miss the most impressive announcements, we have prepared the following summary with the most notable games that have been presented.
Resident Evil Veronica

Great shot of the ones we like. After the enormous battery of remakes that Capcom has thrown in our faces in recent years, the Japanese company has gone for one of the resident Evil most special of all. Resident Evil Veronicathe exclusive title for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000, will receive a treatment to fine-tune its survival horror mechanics.
As it could not be otherwise, Claire Redfield has appeared on our screens to dazzle us, but not too much. It seems that Capcom is going to opt for a first-person perspective in the return to Rockfort Island and we will be able to see it at some point in 2027.
Alien: Isolation 2

Twelve years after making us hold our breath in Sevastopol, SEGA has made it official Alien: Isolation 2 with an equally terrifying trailer… despite the fact that the trailer is set in an open area. There is no date on the calendar, but knowing that we will once again be defenseless against the xenomorph’s artificial intelligence, one of the most outstanding of all time, is at the same time the best and worst news we could receive.
Atlas gene

Fumito Ueda’s new video game has been one of the most outstanding video games that have been shown. With the gene name Atlasgives the impression of being a kind of Shadow of the Colossus with a somewhat more futuristic setting, since the character we control will have to face off against robots of enormous size. It doesn’t have a date yet, but it will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin

It smelled a little like pizza and the reason has a name and surname: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. It is an ARPG developed by PlatinumGames, creators of wonders like NieR:Automata and Bayonetta. This new adventure takes place in New York and moves away from the colorful tone and humor characteristic of the turtles to offer us a dark and raw story of revenge in which only one of the mythical turtles has survived.
Guild Wars 3

ArenaNet has finally broken its silence after a decade to announce Guild Wars 3. This is a new MMORPG set in the Orr region and more than a thousand years before the events of the original game. The real bombshell of the presentation is that the MMORPG will break its historic love affair with the PC to also launch on PS5. Although the roadmap aims for the long term (with a first closed beta planned for autumn 2027), the promise of a reimagined Tyria has already taken the online role-playing community by storm.
Monster Hunter Wilds

Among so many new games that have been revealed, there has been a gap for Capcom to reveal Ascendancewhich will be the first expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds. It will be next year when players will be able to go hunting to face new monsters of monumental size in an unprecedented area. What’s more, it has already been announced that this downloadable content will be massive, so we can expect dozens of hours of new adventures.
Stellar Blade

We were waiting for the sequel to Shift Up and there was no disappointment. Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is the name of the new trip to the futuristic world created by the South Korean video game developer and publisher. “The next installment continues the story beyond the events of the first game, introducing the new protagonist, Evie, and expanding the world in a bold new direction,” the company has stated.
One of the strong points is that the work is completely self-published and does not depend on external agents, although it is still in an early phase of development. The team is very focused on expanding “the stylized action, world-building, and core elements,” but we don’t know when that will happen. Shift Up has reserved the launch date and platforms.
Final Fantasy: Revelation

The closing of the Summer Game Fest has lived up to what we expected. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is the name given to the closing of Square Enix’s JRPG trilogy and will land on all platforms at the same time. We say goodbye to exclusivity with PlayStation just at the moment to avoid the annihilation of the world and the beginning of the final battle against Sefirot. The Highwind ship is present to take to the skies and explore the open world without limits. It will be sometime in the spring of 2027 when we can embark on a journey in which we will control Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Cid and company, but putting special emphasis on the incorporation of Vincent.
