Don’t forget that this new Star Fox for the Switch 2 is simply called Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2. It is based on Nintendo’s Star Fox 64 title but completely redesigned and the first details have already been offered.
In addition, it has been confirmed that the June 25, 2026. After knowing the price, this time we have the first details about its compatibility with amiibo. This is what has been specified for now on the Japanese website of the title:
- By scanning compatible amiibo in Star Fox, players will be able to unlock:
- Special emblems.
- Custom backgrounds.
- These elements can be used in the “Battle Banner”, a card or presentation that appears during online games.
- The compatible amiibo confirmed so far are figures from the line of Super Smash Bros.:
- Fox McCloud
- Falco Lombardi
- Wolf O’Donnell
