Possibly the most interesting shot of the lot is a black and white portrait of Ezra Miller as Barry Allen wearing his “Black Freighter” t-shirt from Watchmen, a subtle nod to the adaptation of Watchmen from Snyder himself. Although promotional images of Miller’s The Flash have been shared before, this is the first time Snyder himself has released a solo portrait of the actor. Justice League.

The image was likely taken during filming in 2016, long before The Flash movie was even in production.

Why did they take Justice League away from Zack Snyder?
Zack Snyder’s departure from the production of Justice League in 2017 was the result of a tragic combination of personal circumstances and corporate pressures. The main and most painful reason was the suicide of his daughter, Autumn Snyder, which led the director to retire to be with his family.
However, the relationship with Warner Bros. was already strained; after the divisive reception of Batman v Supermanthe studio demanded a lighter, more commercial tone. Taking advantage of his absence, executives hired Joss Whedon to do extensive reshoots that radically altered the original vision.
Although it was officially presented as an amicable transition, years later it was revealed that Snyder was practically removed from post-production due to irreconcilable creative differences.
This conflict gave rise to the movement
