It seems that we already have new update available on consoles. Now we have available firmware update 22.5.0 / 22.0.0 from the system configuration menu in Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
These are the patch notes:
Nintendo Switch 2 Update 22.5.0
- Languages have been added Dutch (Dutch) and Russian to the function text to speech within the Accessibility menu.
- They have also added the Dutch and the Russian as supported languages option “Convert speech to text and text to speech during GameChat”available in the Accessibility section.
- General system stability improvements have been implemented to optimize the user experience.
Nintendo Switch Update 22.0.0
- Nintendo eShop has received a redesign of its interface and visual distribution.
- When the console theme is set to “Basic black”the eShop now adapts its colors to match that theme.
- It is now possible to use a User verification PIN to confirm actions related to:
- Access to Nintendo eShop.
- The use of saved payment methods.
- When playing videos in full screen in the News or in Nintendo eShopnow you can:
- Go back 10 seconds by pressing the button ZL.
- Advance 10 seconds by pressing the button ZR.
- General system stability improvements have been applied to improve the user experience.
